discussed in interview About the Position We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Contract Substance Abuse Technician / Case Manager to provide part-time, on-site support for our substance use treatment program. This position is ideal for an experienced behavioral health, substance use, case management, or clinical support professional who is comfortable working independently and helping ensure that client records and program documentation are organized and up to date. The primary purpose of this position is to provide on-site clinical support and documentation assistance related to our DHCS processing and program requirements . Responsibilities Assist with organizing and maintaining client records and treatment documentation. Support case management and client-related administrative tasks. Review records for completeness and identify missing documentation. Assist with preparing documentation needed for DHCS processing and compliance. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the organization's electronic record system. Communicate with clinical and administrative staff regarding documentation needs. Assist with coordinating referrals, resources, and follow-up services as appropriate. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and organizational policies. Provide general on-site support to the clinical team as needed. Perform other duties related to program documentation and client support. Schedule This is a limited part-time contract position of approximately 9 hours per week . 3 days per week 3 hours per day Hours scheduled between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM On-site position Specific days and hours can be discussed during the interview. Qualifications Experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, case management, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of substance use treatment documentation and client records preferred. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Comfortable working with electronic health records and other computer systems. Reliable and professional. Relevant certification or credential such as SUDCC , SUDRC, CADC, RADT, or equivalent is required Contract Position This is a contract, part-time position. The position is designed to provide focused on-site support for documentation, case management, and program processing needs.
