In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of return authorizations, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards, while fostering strong vendor relationships. Your expertise in procurement, contract negotiation, and document management will be essential in supporting our strategic objectives, optimizing purchasing activities, and maintaining rigorous records management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives and uphold compliance across complex legal frameworks such as UCC law, federal acquisition regulations, and intellectual property law. Duties Manage the entire RGA process from initiation through resolution, including reviewing return requests and coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Conduct thorough contract review and negotiation to ensure terms align with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records of all RGA transactions using document management systems like Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle. Collaborate with procurement teams to support purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and proposal writing for new vendor partnerships. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations including UCC law, federal acquisition regulations, and other legal standards governing contracts and contractor management. Facilitate change management processes related to contract modifications or vendor agreements to support business growth initiatives. Review legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to intellectual property law; prepare technical writing for contracts or proposals as needed. Utilize DocuSign or other electronic signature tools to streamline approval workflows; manage document review cycles efficiently. Support vendor management efforts by fostering strong relationships, conducting research on potential partners, and assisting in business development activities. Assist in strategic planning by providing insights on pricing trends, market conditions, and risk assessments related to procurement activities. Qualifications Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or contract administration within a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of contract law including UCC law, U.S. federal acquisition regulations, and intellectual property law. Demonstrated ability in legal drafting, document review, and records management practices. Proficiency with Salesforce, PeopleSoft, ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; experience with DocuSign is a plus. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a strategic mindset for business development and change management initiatives. Familiarity with research techniques related to vendor sourcing and market analysis. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in document management and compliance tracking. Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly through technical writing or proposals.
