Responsibilities:
Summary:
The Manager, Contract Administration and Compliance, assists in providing quality control oversight for GEO's Health Care Services. Duties include monitoring all aspects of healthcare services through audits and reviews of health care materials in hard copy or electronic form.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Manager, Contract Administration and Compliance, performs quality control audits at GEO facilities where GEO is responsible for health care. Audits determine adherence to regulatory, accreditation and contractual obligations and policies and procedures. Participates on audit teams and provides input and analysis into audit reports in a timely manner. The Manager, Contract Administration and Compliance, makes recommendations for corrective actions, as appropriate, for all non-compliant findings. Provides technical assistance related to audit and follow-up activities as needed. The Manager, Contract Administration and Compliance, actively supports and monitors efforts to validate corrective action plans that resolve non-complaint findings. Adheres to and implements policies of the Contract Administration and Compliance Department. Compiles, evaluates, analyzes contract documents and standards and reports results. Analyzes and compares the key processes across health care programs and identifies best practices and submits recommendations to management for implementation. Maintains ongoing communication with facility and corporate staff to develop and enhance positive working relationships and maintain high quality standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Medical professional license required; prefer at least an RN degree. Bachelor's degree required. Five (5) years of experience in progressively responsible positions in the health care industry. Five (5) years of experience in progressively responsible positions in a secure services setting preferred. Working knowledge of American Corrections Association (ACA) standards, Joint Commission and National Commission on Correctional Health Care accreditation extremely desirable. Must possess a working knowledge of contract legal or audit requirements. Experience in compliance and quality management strongly preferred. Exceptional writing skills and ability to proofread and edit. Ability to speak with employees at all levels within or outside of the organization. Ability to make presentations before diverse audiences. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Well organized, multi-task oriented. Must be available for extensive travel. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Ability to use computers and the necessary software applications used by the department. The GEO Group, Inc.
