Job Description - Marketing / Proposal Development Manager Lumenor is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing & Proposal Development Specialist to support our business development efforts across core service areas including Asset Management, Environmental Services, Transportation Planning, Geospatial Technology, and Program Management/Project Controls. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a small team environment and is passionate about crafting compelling proposals and marketing materials that reflect our technical expertise and innovative solutions.

Key Job Summary/Duties:

• Lead the development and coordination of proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations.
• Collaborate with Practice Leads to gather content, develop win themes, and tailor messaging to client needs.
• Maintain and update marketing collateral, including brochures, project sheets, resumes, and capability statements.
• Manage proposal schedules and ensure timely submission of high-quality deliverables.
• Support branding and outreach efforts, including website updates, social media content, and conference materials.
• Maintain a library of proposal content, templates, and graphics for reuse and efficiency.
• Assist with client communications and relationship-building initiatives.
• Collaborates closely with Senior Leadership and Directors to drive content needs, thought leadership, white papers, and other marketing activities.
• Actively promotes the company through marketing activities via LinkedIn and conferences.
• Ability to help coordinate conference sponsorships, registrations, booths, handouts, swag, etc.
• Assist Senior Leadership and Directors track business development opportunities and client/partner relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in proposal development or marketing, preferably in the A/E/C or consulting industry.
• Understand technical concepts in asset management, environmental planning, transportation systems, GIS/geospatial tools, and program controls.
• Experience working in a small business or fast-paced consulting environment.
• Superior communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator) and/or other graphic design programs.
• Experience with Marketing & Proposal development software.
• Experience using Deltek CRM or other CRM software a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of the Civil Engineering, Transportation, and Transit industry, including terminology, processes, procedures, and contract types.
• Extensive experience communicating and interacting at a senior level within a professional services firm.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel to various client locations, conferences, and other identified locations.
• US Citizenship required.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
