Provide support to the Writs / Levies - Garnishments team to address anticipated volume increases and provide capacity while strategic automation and process improvements are developed and deployed. As part of a team of dedicated legal order processing operators, these additional resources will help sustain service levels, support operational stability, and reduce pressure on current staff. Review, interpret, and process legal orders, including wage garnishments, child support orders, and other debt-related legal requests. Ensure all actions are completed in accordance with applicable federal regulations, state-specific requirements, and internal operational procedures. Manage validation process for legal orders before they proceed to payment or fulfillment activities. Apply business rules to determine appropriate account actions based on the type of legal order and applicable jurisdiction. Communicate with requestors and relevant parties to confirm receipt and completion of required actions. Process reimbursements and adjustments as necessary to support legal order administration. Identify and apply exceptions, including deposits or funds that may be exempt from garnishment under applicable laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit, compliance, and operational requirements. Partner with downstream operations teams responsible for payout and fulfillment activities to ensure timely and accurate execution. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and comfortable working with legal documentation in a regulated environment, follow explicit instructions, apply complex rules consistently, and understand state-by-state variations that impact processing decisions. They demonstrate strong judgment, accuracy, and accountability while handling sensitive consumer and business account matters.Key Requirements:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Strong knowledge of and experience with legal documents, Understanding of specific state by state nuances and processes for wage garnishments, Ability to read, interpret, and apply legal documents, court orders, and regulatory guidance. Strong understanding of process execution and adherence to detailed procedures. Ability to understand and apply state-specific legal requirements and regulatory nuances.
