Monday-Friday Compensation:
$80,000-$90,000 annually A growing manufacturing organization in the West Valley is seeking a Proposal Specialist to support government and commercial contracting efforts. This position reports directly to the VP of Administration and will play a key role in managing proposals, reviewing contracts, and supporting procurement and compliance activities. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and highly organized project manager who is comfortable working with RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, contracts, deadlines, and multiple internal stakeholders. The position manages the proposal lifecycle from initial opportunity review through final submission. Contracting and Proposal Specia... Key Responsibilities Review and analyze RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to identify requirements, scope, and deadlines Manage proposal development from initial review through final submission Draft and edit technical narratives and proposal responses Ensure submissions meet government regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards Review contracts, identify potential risks, and evaluate contract modifications Develop and communicate contract positions to government and commercial customers Coordinate with senior leadership and internal stakeholders throughout the proposal process Track proposal activity, submission status, win/loss metrics, and lessons learned Maintain proposal and contract documentation Identify opportunities to improve proposal quality and internal processes Contracting and Proposal Specia... Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in contracting, procurement, proposal development, or a related field Associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred Strong technical and professional writing skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience with government contracting or document management systems is a plus Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
