Job Description

The Contract- Certified Dietary Manager will oversee daily dietary services at a long-term care facility, ensuring menus meet nutritional standards and residents' restrictions. The role supports clinical staff, maintains regulatory compliance, and leads a dietary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily oversight and management of dietary services within the long-term care facility. Develop, implement, and monitor menus that meet nutritional standards and residents' dietary restrictions. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely and appropriate meal delivery and dietary care. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to food safety and dietary services. Supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification. CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year experience in dietary management or food service within a healthcare setting. Experience with long-term care facilities. Ability to work dayshift (8 AM - 5 PM). Strong organizational and communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Certification or degree in dietary management or food service administration. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM).
