Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to support a short-term contract position based in Texas. In this role, you will evaluate and revise construction-related agreements to help protect business interests and maintain alignment with project expectations. This assignment is designed for someone who is detail oriented, can work efficiently, apply sound judgment, and deliver accurate contract support within a three-week engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Examine construction agreements and supporting documents to identify language that may create legal, financial, or operational exposure.
- Edit and refine contract terms across subcontracts, work orders, and related project documents to improve clarity and reduce risk.
- Advise on updates to critical provisions such as indemnity, insurance obligations, payment structure, scope definition, schedule impacts, and dispute handling.
- Coordinate with internal teams to keep agreement reviews moving forward and meet expected turnaround times.
- Confirm that contract content is consistent with company guidelines and the specific needs of each project.
- Provide administrative support for contract records, revisions, and associated documentation throughout the assignment.
