$77,000.00 - $85,900.00 •As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary Under general supervision, coordinates and administers contracts from proposal review and submission through award. Job Responsibilities Reviews contracts agreement packages to ensure adherence to Weill Cornell Medicine branding and policies and to sponsor requirements. Handles complex and non-complex agreements. Prepares and negotiates contractual agreements with Prime sites and subsites on behalf of WCMC General Counsel. Negotiates terms and conditions for new or revised sponsor awards on behalf of WCMC General Counsel. Coordinates and seeks advisement from General Counsel and/or any other contracts specialty department or leadership to ensure appropriate language and timely execution of contracts. May review terms and conditions of new contractual agreements and evaluate changes to pre-existing agreements. May review and negotiate new clinical research agreements. May collaborate with international agencies as is required for the agreement. May collaborate with principle investigators and their staff to ensure appropriate and timely responses. Acts as the liaison between sponsors and WCM for research processing operations including both pre-award and post-award. Trains and mentors staff on contract agreement review and processing. Education Bachelor's Degree in related field Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Prior experience and/or understanding of contracts negotiation.
