Akron, OH (44306) The Role Love technical details and reading single-line diagrams? Wolff Bros. Supply is looking for an organized Gear Quotations Specialist in Akron to turn electrical blueprints into accurate, winning project bids. What You'll Do Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, panel schedules, and one-line diagrams to construct precise Bills of Materials (BOMs), spot scope gaps, and select appropriate products or acceptable substitutions. Obtain manufacturer pricing, negotiate competitive project rates, and manage profit margins to deliver accurate quotations on schedule. Work seamlessly with sales, production, and engineering teams to align on accurate pricing, realistic delivery timelines, and smooth post-award project handoffs. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, provide top-tier service, manage revisions and addenda, and maintain meticulous digital records of all quotes and communications. Efficiently track, prioritize, and generate multiple quote requests using computer software with strong attention to detail and minimal oversight. What We're Looking For High degree of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and a reliable, team-first work ethic. Comfortable navigating computer systems, sales software, and databases to generate and track bids efficiently. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a knack for managing customer clarifications and vendor relationships Experience in electrical/gear quoting and product knowledge not required, but a proven ability to learn to read plans, spec sheets, and one-line diagrams.
