DESCRIPTION
CBSD is accepting applications for a PA certified Reading Specialist. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to meet the needs of a diverse population of students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing reading instruction for large and small groups; providing support and staff development for classroom teachers, assessing student performance and participating in MTSS meetings, assisting in the coordination of end-of-year testing; providing guidance and direction to instructional assistants; and other responsibilities related to the reading program implementation as defined by the building principal and supervisor of reading.
REQUIREMENTS
Active dual PA Reading Specialist Certification and Elementary Teaching Certification required. Reading Specialist experience preferred. If applicant requires a PDE Emergency Permit, contract eligibility is not applicable, and the vacancy becomes a Long Term Substitute position
