You'll own commercial sales and government contracting efforts, working directly with leadership to expand our presence throughout Utah. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely, meet customers, walk properties, and manage your pipeline. We want someone who enjoys building something and being rewarded for the business they create. - Identify and pursue federal, state, county, municipal, school district, and other public-sector cleaning contracts.
- Monitor SAM.gov, Utah's U3P procurement system, and local government bid portals.
- Own the RFP process: identify opportunities, attend pre-bid meetings, conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and submit compliant bids.
- Develop competitive pricing and detailed scopes of work with leadership and operations.
- Track bid deadlines, required documentation, contract requirements, and award decisions.
- Evaluate eligibility, operational feasibility, and profitability before submitting bids. What you'll do
- Commercial sales and business development
- Prospect and secure new recurring commercial cleaning contracts throughout Utah.
- Build relationships with property managers, facility directors, business owners, and commercial real estate professionals.
- Conduct on-site property walkthroughs and develop accurate service proposals.
- Prepare and present bids, negotiate contracts, and close new business.
- Coordinate a smooth transition from contract award to service delivery with our operations team.
- Maintain an organized CRM, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts. Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience preparing, submitting, and successfully winning government or public-sector RFPs.
- Experience in B2B sales, government contracting, commercial services, or business development.
- Ability to independently manage the sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
- Strong proposal writing, estimating, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience interpreting RFP requirements and preparing compliant proposals.
- Utah residency and ability to travel for property walkthroughs, client meetings, and pre-bid conferences.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and strong organizational skills. Preferred qualifications
- Experience selling commercial janitorial, custodial, facility maintenance, or related services.
- Documented history of winning government cleaning or facility services contracts.
- Familiarity with SAM.gov, Utah U3P, and local government procurement.
- Experience estimating cleaning labor, production rates, equipment needs, and contract profitability.
- Established Utah property management, facility, or government procurement relationships.
- Experience securing multiyear service contracts and recurring-revenue business.
Compensation and flexibility We are open to
Full-time, Part-Time, Contract:
Target total annual compensation is $90,000
- 120,000+, based on performance.
Hybrid work with remote flexibility when not meeting customers, visiting sites, or collaborating with the team. Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel. Candidates specializing in public-sector bidding are encouraged to apply.
What success looks like:
In your first 90 days, you will build a qualified pipeline of commercial prospects and government bid opportunities, complete property walkthroughs, submit competitive proposals, and establish a repeatable sales process. After an agreed ramp-up period, the full-time sales target is $10,000 in new monthly recurring revenue added each month. Success is measured by profitable recurring revenue, public-sector contract wins, and lasting customer relationships. Government contracting performance will also be evaluated through qualified opportunities, compliant submissions, and awards, recognizing that public procurement cycles may be longer. Why KiwiClean? We're building a company where quality, reliability, and taking care of people matter. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work, the support of an operations team that delivers the services you sell, and a direct role in the growth of the business. We're looking for someone who wants more than a sales quota—we want someone excited to help build something. How to apply Please submit your resume and a brief introduction outlining your commercial sales and government contracting experience. Include two examples of public-sector RFPs you personally helped win (your role, contract type, and approximate value), your experience selling recurring commercial services, whether you prefer full-time or part-time work, your Utah location, and your availability to begin. KiwiClean Services is an equal opportunity employer.
