Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Accounting, Contract Administration, Procurement, or related field. Required Experience & Skills 3-5 years of progressive experience in purchasing, contract management, and vendor negotiations in a complex environment; healthcare/multi-hospital experience preferred. Oracle and Lawson experience required. Strong Excel and ERP experience. Contract review and contract/database ERP experience required ; healthcare/hospital experience preferred. Strong critical thinking, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end contract, sourcing, and procurement activities for assigned product/service categories. Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, supply assurance, and organizational objectives. Manage GPO and distributor relationships , supplier negotiations, pricing, product portfolios, and vendor performance. Conduct spend, contract, purchase-plan, benchmarking, and bid analysis ; develop economic evaluations, what-if scenarios, and recommendations. Lead supplier sourcing and engagement , including bids, negotiations, change orders, rebates, supplier consolidation, and contract closeouts. Evaluate supplier capabilities, competitive positioning, cost models, and benchmarks to identify cost-reduction opportunities. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to standardize processes, evaluate new products/technology, and develop strategic/tactical solutions. Lead vendor performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) , ensuring alignment with category strategies, quality, service, availability, and value. Develop presentations and recommendations for leadership and executive management. Maintain accurate contract records, policies, procedures, and sourcing documentation to ensure compliance and consistency. Identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and resource efficiencies across the organization. Preferred Experience in a large hospital or multi-hospital healthcare system . Experience managing high-volume/high-cost suppliers and complex procurement categories.
