Contract Drafting and Review:
Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize both routine and non-routine commercial contractual documents with efficiency and accuracy. Assess complex solicitations, identify potential risks and regulatory considerations, and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.Contract Analysis and Compliance:
Evaluate and analyze terms, conditions, and legal requirements within proposals, bids, and contract modifications. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations, providing guidance and support to branch offices and management.Risk Assessment and Recommendations:
Identify risk analysis factors to provide insightful recommendations on matters pertaining to contract terms and conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop responses and propose alternative terms or language as needed.Proposal Management:
Organize, manage, and prioritize multiple proposal efforts concurrently. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university 5 years of reviewing construction contracts for large projects to include: drafting of contract addenda and contract modifications, industry regulations, standards, and best practices. 5 years of experience in negotiating and modifying the following contract topics: Indemnification, Limits of Liability, Consequential Damages and Intellectual Property Track record of effectively incorporating risk-mitigating clauses into contracts or by addenda to enhance operational and legal outcomes. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), government policies and regulations, and other applicable laws governing procurement. Management and review of subcontractor agreements and relationships Advanced experience in Microsoft Office suite. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Proficiency inEnglish Preferred Qualifications:
Law degree preferred Attention to detail and accuracy in contract documentation and administration. Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures specific to construction projects Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings commonly found in construction contracts. Knowledge of complex contract topics, such as cybersecurity, privacy, and Insurance. Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and legal teams. Familiarity with project management methodologies and their application to contract administration in construction projects. Understanding of risk management principles and strategies within the context of construction contracts. Advanced presentation and contract training skills.
