In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, and supporting strategic business initiatives through effective contract and vendor management. Your expertise will help streamline procurement processes, mitigate risks, and foster strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including procurement agreements, grants, and service contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and enforceability. Manage vendor relationships by overseeing vendor performance, conducting evaluations, and maintaining accurate records within document management systems. Ensure all contracts adhere to federal acquisition regulations (FAR), procurement policies, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and other applicable compliance standards. Support grant project management by reviewing grant-related contracts, tracking milestones, and ensuring proper documentation in ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Salesforce. Conduct thorough contract reviews for legal sufficiency, risk mitigation, and alignment with organizational goals; prepare technical and legal documentation for approval. Utilize tools like DocuSign for electronic signatures and maintain meticulous records of contract modifications, amendments, and related correspondence. Collaborate with internal teams on strategic planning initiatives related to procurement, business development, and change management to optimize contract execution processes. Monitor procurement boards, solicitations, and source-selection portals for relevantRFP/RFQ opportunities. Review complex solicitation packages, scope of work (SOW) documents, and compliance matrices to identify bid requirements and submission timelines. Draft, coordinate, and assemble compelling proposal narratives, technical responses, pricing worksheets, and past performance write-ups. Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and leadership to source competitive pricing, staffing plans, and material quotes. Maintain proposal archives, standard templates, capability statements, and compliance checklists for rapid bid turnarounds. Experience Proven experience in government contract management or public sector purchasing with a strong understanding of procurement regulatory frameworks such as FAR. Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and legal drafting within complex organizational environments. Familiarity with document review processes including compliance management, records management, and intellectual property law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP systems like PeopleSoft or Salesforce, and document management platforms such as DocuSign. Strong research skills combined with excellent writing abilities for proposal writing, technical documentation, and strategic reports. Prior experience managing grants or working on grant-related projects is highly desirable. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure situations. Minimum 2-3 years of direct experience preparing, drafting, and managing RFP/RFQ submissions for federal, state, or municipal agencies.
