Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; flexible but consistent schedule Position Summary Responsible for processing, posting, verifying, and maintaining data and payments received from customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Post payment information received via lockbox into SAP to Accounts Receivable or the appropriate GL code. Serve as backup to the Supervisor for receiving payment information and posting credit card transactions and cash deposits to local banks received via email. Complete adjustments to Accounts Receivable necessitated by the autocash process. Assist in responding to questions from distribution centers and Corporate Credit regarding the accuracy of cash postings. Research payment questions for distribution centers and the Accounting department. Balance cash posted to bank deposits. Make Accounts Receivable adjustments as requested by distribution centers and Corporate Credit. Provide check copies, backup for deductions, and other cash application documentation to distribution centers, Corporate Credit, and Accounting as needed. Assist other team members as needed. Additional Essential Functions Attendance/Punctuality Consistently reports to work on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent, and arrives at meetings and appointments on time. Work Location This work is critical to be conducted at the assigned office, with remote work not practical. Skills & AbilitiesEducation & Experience Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills Strong PC skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Excel SAP experience required Other Requirements Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
