The Fire Protection Service Manager - Federal Market is responsible for leading and overseeing fire protection service operations for federal customers. This role manages inspection, testing, maintenance (ITM), service, and repair activities for fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and related life safety systems while supporting site surveys, estimating, and bidding efforts. The position ensures strict compliance with federal contract requirements, applicable codes, and company standards and requires strong operational leadership in compliance-driven federal environments. Responsibilities Lead and manage fire protection service operations for federal government customers Oversee inspection, testing, maintenance, and service activities for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements, NFPA standards, and customer-specific procedures Manage service managers, coordinators, technicians, and support staff assigned to federal accounts Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet contract performance requirements Conduct site surveys and system assessments to support service execution, repairs, and project opportunities Develop service-related estimates, budgets, and pricing for repairs, upgrades, and contract modifications Support bidding efforts for federal ITM contracts, task orders, and service-related projects Collaborate with account managers and sales teams on proposal development and technical input Monitor service performance, KPIs, and contract deliverables Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and record retention in accordance with federal standards Support audits, inspections, and reviews conducted by federal agencies or AHJs Coordinate corrective actions, deficiency resolution, and follow-up work Support contract modifications, change orders, and scope management Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance across service teams Support continuous improvement of service processes, compliance, and operational efficiency We offer an excellent benefits package including: A competitive salary Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement 401k Retirement Plan Military Reserve pay offset Paid maternity leave Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience.
