Responsibilities Will be situated in Fairbanks for the first 6 months, then rotate to the Anchorage branch. After the initial 6-month period, you will be based in Anchorage but must be able to travel between Anchorage and Fairbanks as needed. Participate in structured training programs covering all aspects of our business, including sales, rental, service, parts, customer service, operations, finance, and leadership skills development. Rotate through different ESI departments to learn about our products, gain experience with various roles and processes, and get to know the other employees. Observe and shadow experienced managers to learn best practices and gain insights into effective leadership techniques. Undertake special projects to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations and improve processes Learn and follow company policies, procedures, and ethical practices. Collaborate with departmental teams and assist in supervisory duties under the guidance of experienced managers. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in different environments and handle various challenges that arise during the training period Successful training will result in proficiency with the following duties: Formulate policies, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources. Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity/goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or improvement. Coordinate activities of the business concerned with the pricing, rental, sales, or distribution of products. Oversee administrative activities related to making products or providing services. Plan and manage employee work requirements and work schedules. Set a positive and professional example for other employees regarding appearance, enthusiasm, attitude, attendance, performance, and conduct. Provide training and coaching regarding attendance, performance, and behavior standards to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices. Assist employees with problem solving and customer service. Monitor suppliers to make sure ESI receives necessary goods and services within budgetary limits and required timeframes. Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business. Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning, organizing, and implementing outside sales strategies. Determine customer needs and propose solutions, including product development and service needs. Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers. Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish initial and follow-up appointments with customer decision makers. Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, customer satisfaction, etc. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and collaborating with other ESI leaders. Implement procedures to provide ongoing customer support, product maintenance, and service. Create and send price quotes and invoices Receive and process cash or credit payments.
