Job Description
The Business Development Analyst supports Penumbra's new business growth strategy through in-depth market analysis and new opportunity evaluation. Reporting to the Director, Business Development and working collaboratively with the Corporate Strategy team, this role evaluates new technologies, partnerships, and other business opportunities and is responsible for assisting with the management of due diligence, financial and market modeling, and valuation analysis. What You'll Work On
- Conduct market, technology, and competitive analyses to support identification and evaluation of new business development opportunities
- Maintain and continue to optimize internal infrastructure to monitor and track strategic opportunities
- Build market models, valuation analyses, and financial models to support business and capital allocation decisions
- Assist with due diligence and synthesize findings into presentations for executive-level discussions
- Build a strong understanding of the company's current product portfolio, target end markets, and pipeline priorities to better inform strategic decisions and direction
- Partner and maintain effective communication and alignment with marketing, finance, R D and other business functions What You Contribute
- A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced degree preferred
- Engineering, science or healthcare background and experience
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market modeling capabilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools Working Conditions General office environment.
Base Pay Range Per Hour:
$53.85 - $63.85 / hour Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, work location and shift, and will increase over time based on meeting performance and business needs. \n \n What We Offer- A collaborative teamwork environment where learning is constant, and performance is rewarded.
