The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is seeking an experienced, energetic Youth & Family Director to lead youth and family programs at our flagship Speer YMCA. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role with significant responsibility for our high-volume Kids Zone operation, including the recruitment, scheduling, training and supervision of approximately 50 employees. The Director also leads and grows youth and family programming and works across departments to create an exceptional experience for children and families.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum two years of experience in youth programming and staff leadership. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and develop a large team, preferably including a significant part-time workforce. Experience with complex staff scheduling, hiring, performance management and budgets. Childcare, child development or camp experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
