Job Description
Seeking a full time member of management. Must have previous soft lines retail experience of at least two years. Looking for a team player, self starter, with strength in customer service.
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient and effective performance
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct employee orientation and provide ongoing coaching and development
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment
- Monitor and analyze sales trends to make informed buying decisions
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system for sales transactions and reporting
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and budgeting
Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from suppliers
- Ability to make informed buying decisions based on market trends and customer demand
- Experience in employee orientation, training, and development
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using POS systems for sales transactions and inventory management
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Budgeting skills to effectively manage store expenses and maximize profitability
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and resolving issues
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets
