Advanced Practice Practitioner Manager (NP/PA)Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) Overview We're seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner ready to step into a hybrid leadership role, combining hands-on patient care with oversight of a team of Advanced Practice Providers. This is an opportunity to lead, mentor, and influence care delivery while staying clinically active in a fast-paced urgent care environment. What You'll Do Clinical Responsibilities (Approximately 75%) Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions (e.g., respiratory illness, minor injuries, infections) Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care Order and interpret diagnostics (X-rays, EKGs, labs) Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalate to ER when needed Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities (Approximately 25%) Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service line Coach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performance Monitor key metrics (clinical, operational, patient satisfaction) and drive improvements Partner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilization Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPs Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications Education Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Licensure & Certifications Current PA or NP license in applicable state National Board Certification Active DEA registration Experience Minimum of 12 months of experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or similar fast-paced clinical setting Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferred Experience coaching or mentoring providers strongly preferred At GoHealth Urgent Care , we GO above and beyond for our patients, communities and team members to ensure effortless, personal and connected experiences.
