Position Overview The Children's Pastor/Director leads the children's ministry at a Lifepoint campus , creating environments where kids can experience Jesus, parents can feel confident and supported, and leaders can find meaningful opportunities to serve and grow. This role owns the spiritual health, leadership development, culture, and execution of the children's ministry at the campus. They build and develop strong volunteer teams, create safe and engaging ministry environments, partner with parents, and ensure the Lifepoint mission, values, and culture are consistently experienced by every child and family. This is more than a programming role. It is a pastor, leader, and team builder role for someone who loves kids, develops people, pursues excellence, and takes ownership of helping the next generation take their next step toward life in Jesus.CLICK THIS LINK TO APPLY
Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of children's ministry at the campus (birth through elementary) Create fun, engaging, and safe environments for kids Recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams Partner with parents to support their child's spiritual growth Ensure excellence in every environment (check-in, classrooms, safety, communication) Develop leaders and build a healthy team culture Align with Lifepoint's vision, systems, and Next Gen strategy What Success Looks Like Kids excited to be at church and growing in their faith Parents who feel supported and confident in the ministry Strong, consistent volunteer teams Safe, well-run, and engaging environments Clear systems that make ministry effective and sustainable Who We're Looking For Someone who loves kids and cares about their spiritual growth A strong leader who can build and lead teams A self-starter who takes ownership of their campus A great communicator with both kids and adults Someone who brings energy, consistency, and follow-through A team player who aligns with leadership and vision Experience Experience serving or leading in children's ministry preferred Experience building and leading teams Bachelors Degree Our Culture Efficiency- maximize time and resources Flexibility
