The firm has more than 1,800 employees located in 50+ offices around the world. Description Teneo is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Transactions & Strategic Situations (TSS) team in New York. The Senior Associate will be an integral member of client teams, supporting companies and senior leaders through complex, high-stakes situations including M&A, IPOs and other capital markets activity, restructurings and other critical corporate situations. The role will have broad exposure across clients, transactions and Teneo's global network, with responsibility for delivering high-quality client work, managing day-to-day account activity and supporting the development and execution of strategic communications programs. Responsibilities Support the development and execution of communications strategies for M&A, restructurings, IPOs, capital markets activity and other strategic situations Manage day-to-day client workstreams and help ensure high-quality deliverables are completed accurately and on time Draft and refine client materials, including strategic plans, messaging, press releases, Q&A, briefing materials, presentations and other communications Conduct company, industry, market and stakeholder research and synthesize findings into actionable insights for clients and senior team members Monitor financial markets, media and stakeholder developments, proactively identifying issues, risks and opportunities relevant to clients Work closely with senior team members to prepare for client engagements and support clients through fast-moving and market-sensitive situations Coordinate across Teneo teams, business segments and geographies to bring the firm's broader capabilities to client engagements Support new business efforts, including research, proposal development and preparation of pitch materials Contribute to practice development, knowledge sharing and other strategic initiatives across the Transactions & Strategic Situations team Leverage AI, automation and other tools to enhance research, analysis and team efficiency Qualifications 4-6+ years of relevant experience in financial communications, corporate communications, investor relations, investment banking, transaction advisory or a related field Experience with or strong interest in M&A, restructuring, capital markets and other complex corporate situations Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly synthesize complex information Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Sound judgment, resourcefulness and the ability to anticipate client and team needs Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications, with an interest in incorporating AI and new technologies into day-to-day work Commercial mindset and interest in supporting business development and the continued growth of the practice Highly collaborative, proactive and comfortable working across teams and levels of seniority Based in New York City, with a minimum of three days in the office What We Offer As a Teneo employee, you will enjoy unique benefits including flexible time off policy; medical, dental, and vision coverage; long-term disability, and life insurance; a 401K plan; commuter benefits; team events; snacks; and other perks. Base Salary Range $100,000 - $130,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed). Total Compensation Package Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and perks.
Flexible Work Policy:
Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible and if you are assigned to the New York office, the company's expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three days a week.
