Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Pegasus Residential's Business Development function and Operational Leadership. This position is responsible for leveraging financial analysis, market intelligence, operational performance data, and emerging AI technologies to drive revenue growth, improve portfolio performance, support new business opportunities, inform sales pitches, and enhance strategic decision-making. Analyze client portfolios and identify operational improvement opportunities that can be incorporated into sales presentations and proposals. Assist in the preparation of business development presentations, case studies, and financial exhibits. Conduct due diligence and operational assessments on prospective client portfolios. Develop financial comparisons demonstrating Pegasus' ability to improve performance, increase NOI, and enhance asset value. Research ownership groups, investors, lenders, and key decision makers to identify potential relationship-building opportunities. Strategic Analytics & AI Innovation Leverage AI-powered tools and automation platforms to increase efficiency, improve reporting accuracy, and reduce manual workflows. Develop and maintain AI-assisted business intelligence dashboards that provide real-time portfolio insights. Utilize predictive analytics and machine learning tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across managed assets. Assist leadership in evaluating emerging technology solutions that improve operational performance and decision making. Implement automated reporting processes that reduce administrative work and accelerate access to critical business data. Partner with operational teams to identify use cases where AI can improve resident experience, team productivity, reporting, and asset performance. Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Monitor multifamily market trends, transaction activity, and competitor performance. Conduct demographic, economic, and competitive market analyses for existing and prospective clients. Produce market studies and strategic reports for leadership and business development teams. Track ownership changes, acquisition activity, and investment trends across target markets. Support strategic expansion efforts through research and data analysis. Reporting & Communication Prepare professional reports, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to operational leaders and business development teams. Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reporting systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Portfolio Services, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Business Development teams. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, real estate analytics, multifamily operations, or business intelligence. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience within multifamily housing, property management, real estate investment, or asset management. Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Familiarity with AI technologies, automation platforms, and data analytics applications. Experience underwriting multifamily assets and evaluating investment opportunities. Knowledge of property management systems including Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or equivalent platforms. Work Environment Full-time, hybrid in-office position based in Alpharetta, Georgia. Frequent collaboration with Operations, Business Development, Portfolio Services, Marketing, and Executive Leadership Occasional travel for property visits, client meetings, industry events, and due diligence activities.
