Responsibilities Provide expert medical oversight for all clinical procedures, ensuring adherence to FDA regulations, HIPAA standards, and healthcare compliance protocols. Lead the development and implementation of clinical protocols aligned with NCQA standards and best practices in aesthetic medicine. Supervise and mentor medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and aestheticians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in patient care. Oversee electronic health records (EHR) management, ensuring accurate documentation of medical records, treatment plans, and patient histories using EMR/EHR systems. Manage practice operations related to medical management, including quality improvement initiatives, utilization management, and compliance with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations. Collaborate on research projects or clinical research initiatives to stay at the forefront of advancements in aesthetic medicine and physiology knowledge. Ensure all treatments are delivered safely while treating patients as a physician with compassion and professionalism; maintain a focus on patient satisfaction and care outcomes. Oversee budgeting processes related to medical supplies, staffing, and equipment to support efficient practice management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital experience standards, healthcare regulations, managed care policies, and accreditation requirements such as NCQA standards. Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with active licensure in the relevant state or region. Post-residency experience in clinical practice with demonstrated supervisory or leadership roles within healthcare settings. Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, and clinical development processes. Proven experience managing EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management; familiarity with healthcare IT platforms is essential. Strong understanding of FDA regulations, HIPAA compliance, healthcare laws including DEA regulations for controlled substances, and healthcare quality standards such as NCQA. Background in Aesthetics and wellness Experience in research activities or clinical research projects related to aesthetic medicine or related fields is preferred.
