Job Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling technicians to plumbing and drain services efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze incoming orders and determine appropriate routing
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and team members
- Utilize Oracle Transportation Management system for dispatching tasks
- Manage fleet operations and monitor driver performance
- Utilize GIS tools for route optimization
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities
- Operate phone systems to coordinate deliveries and pickups
Skills:
- Proficient in phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries professionally
- Ability to analyze transportation data and make informed decisions
- Strong communication skills to interact with drivers and team members effectively
- Experience with Oracle Transportation Management software is a plus
- Knowledge of fleet management principles
- Familiarity with GIS tools for mapping and route planning
- Understanding of shipping, receiving, and freight processes
