Full-Time Position Overview Finest Rooter & Plumbing is looking for an experienced Plumbing Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, dependable, and comfortable handling a fast-paced service environment. The Plumbing Dispatcher will be responsible for answering incoming customer calls, scheduling appointments, dispatching technicians, communicating with customers and field employees, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming customer phone calls professionally and efficiently. Schedule plumbing service appointments and accurately collect customer information. Dispatch plumbing technicians based on location, availability, skill set, and urgency of the call. Monitor technicians throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed. Communicate with technicians regarding job details, customer information, estimates, and schedule changes. Keep customers updated regarding technician arrival times and appointment changes. Handle emergency plumbing calls and prioritize jobs appropriately. Follow up with customers regarding completed or pending service. Maintain accurate customer and job information in the dispatch system. Coordinate with management and field technicians to prevent scheduling conflicts and excessive technician downtime. Help maintain an organized daily schedule and maximize technician productivity. Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary. Required Qualifications Previous plumbing dispatching or home-service dispatch experience preferred. Experience with ServiceTitan is strongly preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable answering multiple phone calls and managing several technicians at once. Computer proficient and comfortable learning new software. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding scheduling and dispatching. Preferred Experience 1+ year of plumbing or other home-service dispatch experience. ServiceTitan experience. Experience coordinating multiple field technicians. Understanding of plumbing service calls and common plumbing terminology. Experience working with emergency service calls. Experience with scheduling, customer follow-up, and technician routing. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the dispatch board, keep technicians moving efficiently, communicate clearly with customers, and help the company provide an excellent customer experience. The right person should be able to handle a busy phone line, make quick scheduling decisions, and keep the entire team organized throughout the day.
Pay:
$20.00 - $32.00 per hour
