Schedule:

Thursday-Monday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Long term position Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management. Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and internal communication platforms to relay dispatch instructions and updates. Manage phone call traffic efficiently, providing professional phone etiquette while addressing inquiries related to shipping, receiving, and freight status. Enter data accurately into logistics databases, ensuring detailed record-keeping for shipping schedules, vehicle assignments, and freight documentation. Oversee road transportation operations by coordinating fleet management activities, including vehicle dispatching and maintenance scheduling. Support customer service efforts by providing timely updates on freight status and resolving shipment issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in dispatching or freight logistics coordination within a supply chain or transportation environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management. Experience with vehicle dispatch software, fleet management tools, and shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette.
