Full Job Description Dispatch Coordinator Pay:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8-hour shift | Start time between 7:00-8:00 AM We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in coordinating truck flow, scheduling pickups and appointments, tracking daily activity, and helping ensure operations run efficiently and meet client service requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, works with a sense of urgency, and can effectively manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage truck flow and daily production. Schedule truck work as efficiently as possible while meeting client SLAs and deadlines. Schedule vehicle pickups, deliveries, and appointments. Maintain accurate daily reports to track pickups and operational activity. Enter and maintain pertinent information in company software applications and AS400. Communicate operational issues or delays to supervisors and managers in a timely manner. Work closely with tow truck drivers to keep vehicles and assignments moving efficiently. Coordinate with administrative staff regarding units that need to be moved. Monitor daily operations and proactively address scheduling or workflow issues. Follow all company safety and health procedures and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety. Support safety initiatives and contribute to a culture of Safety Excellence. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following: High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience , OR A degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience , OR 5 years of related work experience . Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive transportation, logistics, dealership operations, or auto auction environments. Familiarity with transportation management systems and vehicle tracking tools. Knowledge of vehicle shipping processes and carrier operations. Previous dispatch, scheduling, fleet, transportation, or logistics experience is a plus. What We're Looking For Customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
