In this fast-paced position, you'll manage scheduling, dispatching, and communication between our technicians and customers to ensure timely, efficient service delivery across the Santa Cruz area. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule plumbing service and estimate appointments, dispatching technicians efficiently using our scheduling software Communicate clearly with field technicians, customers, and internal teams to ensure everyone is aligned on job details, timing, and priorities Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing prompt assistance, booking appointments, and resolving customer inquiries Prioritize and triage incoming calls using our color-coded urgency system, moving emergency jobs to the top of the schedule Keep technicians' schedules optimized throughout the day, adjusting for emergencies, delays, or cancellations Maintain accurate records of service calls, appointments, and customer communication in our scheduling system Follow established SOPs for booking, dispatching, and escalating customer concerns to management when needed Qualifications Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on phone etiquette and customer service Comfortable learning new software — no specific system experience required, as we provide training. Prior experience in Service Titan or equivalent software is a plus Proficiency with computer tools (email, spreadsheets) for data entry and reporting Calm, level-headed under pressure — able to juggle a shifting schedule and handle urgent situations professionally Prior dispatch, scheduling, or customer service experience in the trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) is a big plus Join us as a Plumbing Dispatcher, where your organizational skills and people skills will drive operational success!
