Job Description

The Middlesex Corporation seeks a Dispatcher to coordinate daily movement of crews, trucks, and heavy equipment for transportation and infrastructure projects. In this safety-focused role, you will schedule and dispatch resources to multiple job sites, monitor progress, and adjust assignments to meet production goals. You'll communicate constantly with field supervisors and drivers, maintain accurate logs and reports, and use dispatch/GPS tools to optimize routing. This position offers exposure to major civil projects, strong training, and opportunities to grow within a collaborative, performance-driven team. Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch crews, trucks, and equipment to construction and infrastructure job sites. Monitor job progress and adjust routes and assignments to meet production and safety goals. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, driver hours, and material deliveries. Communicate with supervisors, foremen, and drivers to relay instructions and resolve issues. Use dispatch and GPS systems to track fleet locations and optimize routing. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for deliveries and pickups. Assist with incident reporting and compliance with company and
DOT/OSHA
