Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Flatbed Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation planning and management systems to ensure efficient routing and scheduling for our Flatbed/Step Deck Fleet.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation activities to meet customer needs
• Utilize transportation management systems for planning and tracking shipments
• Analyze data to optimize routes and minimize costs
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
• Monitor shipping and receiving activities to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Utilize GPS systems for real-time tracking of vehicles

Requirements:

• Prior experience in transportation planning or dispatching roles
• Strong analytical skills to optimize routes and schedules
• Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers and customers effectively
• Ability to perform accurate data entry tasks
