Job Summary A Sioux City area heating & cooling company is seeking a reliable, sharp, and cool-under-pressure HVAC Dispatcher to serve as the air-traffic controller of their daily field operations. In this role, you will be the vital link between their customers and technicians, managing real-time schedules, optimizing service routes, and turning emergency heating and cooling calls into seamless customer experiences. Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the dispatching of freight vehicles using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and vehicle dispatch software Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve delivery times Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and internal communication platforms Manage phone call inquiries related to shipments, deliveries, or scheduling changes with professionalism and clarity Enter data accurately into logistics systems such as SyteLine and Freight Management Software to ensure real-time updates Schedule pickups and deliveries in accordance with shipping & receiving priorities while adhering to DOT regulations Collaborate with supply chain teams to coordinate freight movements within the broader transportation planning framework Maintain organized records of dispatch activities, vehicle logs, and compliance documentation Assist in troubleshooting logistical issues by analyzing data and providing timely solutions Support shipping & receiving operations by coordinating freight schedules and ensuring proper documentation Experience Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of experience in transportation planning, road transportation operations, or logistics coordination. Experience with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or vehicle dispatch software is highly desirable. Familiarity with GPS tracking, GIS mapping tools, and fleet management practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Additional qualifications include:
