Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Aurora, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a technology-focused location. Monitor dispatch systems, phones, radios, alarms, and/or cameras, and communicate security-related incidents, service requests, and critical updates to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner. Coordinate the flow of information between officers, supervisors, and/or client contacts, helping to support timely responses to incidents, maintenance concerns, and other operational needs. Document calls, incidents, activity logs, and/or dispatch records with attention to detail, helping to support accurate reporting and follow-up. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while remaining prepared to respond to changing conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related roles, law enforcement, and/or the military. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
