Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Logistics Dispatcher to manage time-critical, temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and biological shipments across our Chicago network. This is a high-speed dispatching role responsible for routing, driver tracking (LSP & Marken drivers), airline tenders (NFO), and active TMS management.

Key Responsibilities Driver & Agent Routing:

Coordinate and dispatch time-sensitive collections, recoveries, and deliveries with local drivers and Logistics Service Providers (LSPs).

Time-Critical & NFO Operations:

Execute Next Flight Out (NFO) dispatches-tendering shipments immediately upon collection, monitoring flight status, and coordinating airport recoveries with Import/Export teams.

TMS & Data Management:

Continuously update our operating system (Maestro) with route legs, real-time driver locations, delay codes, POB/POD details, and Tableau tracking boards.

Cold-Chain & Supply Management:

Work closely with the packaging team to ensure temperature-conditioning supplies and cold-chain materials are pre-positioned at sites/LSPs prior to collection.

Fleet & Driver Oversight:

Ensure drivers update milestones via mobile apps (XMaestro), perform periodic fleet vehicle inspections, and manage shift turnover reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in freight, logistics, fleet dispatching, or time-critical transport coordination. Strong proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), driver-tracking software, or dispatch platforms. Experience with airport recoveries, airline tenders, or Next Flight Out (NFO) logistics is strongly preferred. Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills in a high-stakes, time-sensitive environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20.40 per hour to $38.10 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience.
