Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support production operations in our Bensenville facility. This role is responsible for assisting with the operation of roll wrapping machines, a critical step in the cable production process. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate and support roll wrapping machines, which represent a major step in the production process. Load large spools of cable onto machinery and ensure proper setup for production. Monitor and adjust machines as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Follow daily production schedules and meet output goals. Perform quality checks to ensure finished product meets specifications. Assist with general production duties as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Essential Skills Experience in machine operating and mechanical inclination. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Previous production experience is required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow instructions and production schedules. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications Manufacturing or industrial production background preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensenville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.25/hr.
