AGRONOMY LOCATION MANAGER / DISPATCHER

Full-Time Position | Agriculture / Agronomy We are seeking an experienced and organized Agronomy Location Manager / Dispatcher to oversee day-to-day operations at an agronomy location while coordinating employees, equipment, deliveries, applications, and customer needs. This is a hands-on leadership position that plays an important role in keeping seasonal operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong agricultural background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily operations and activities at the agronomy location Coordinate and dispatch applicators, tender trucks, delivery drivers, and other field personnel Schedule and prioritize fertilizer, chemical, seed, and other product deliveries Coordinate custom application activities based on customer needs, weather, field conditions, and product availability Communicate daily assignments, schedules, field locations, products, and application requirements to employees Work closely with agronomists, sales representatives, customers, and management to coordinate operations Monitor field activities and make adjustments to schedules as conditions change Maintain accurate records of applications, deliveries, inventory movements, and employee assignments Assist with inventory management of fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and other agricultural products Coordinate product loading, unloading, transfers, and deliveries Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs Ensure application and delivery equipment is properly maintained, fueled, and ready for use Help coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and resolving scheduling conflicts Ensure employees are following company safety policies and proper handling procedures Maintain compliance with applicable agricultural, chemical, environmental, and safety regulations Assist with employee training and provide direction to seasonal and full-time staff Monitor work quality and help ensure applications and deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, deliveries, application timing, and operational questions Assist with billing, work orders, tickets, and other operational paperwork as needed Support planting, spraying, and harvest-season operations Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe agronomy facility Perform other duties as needed to support the overall operation

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of agricultural, agronomy, or ag retail experience preferred Previous experience with dispatching, scheduling, or agricultural operations preferred Strong understanding of agricultural products, including fertilizer, chemicals, and seed Experience with custom application operations is a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple employees, schedules, and priorities simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and make sound day-to-day operational decisions Mechanically inclined with the ability to recognize basic equipment issues Proficient with computers,

Pay:

$110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
