Operations Support and Dispatch We are seeking a dependable , professional team player with great interpersonal skills for a unique opportunity in the city of Indianapolis. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment This is a Full Time , 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am to 4pm opportunity Our dispatchers assist with day to day operations, work with operations managers to complete reports, have direct customer service responsibilities, helping with EDI compliance, as well as managing a few city/local drivers to complete daily tasks. Duties would include managing Class A drivers coordinating local/city work, responsible in getting routes out on-time, keeping dispatch computer work updated (ties in with EDI), problem-solving driver call-offs, running reports, and working well independently . Ideal candidates should have excellent organizational, planning and communications skills. Must possess experience and knowledge of DOT Rules and regulations pertaining to Class A Truck Driver hours of service, as well as experience using Microsoft office programs, especially Excel, and possess the ability to learn other programs such as:
- TMW Suite
- Peoplenet
- Skybitz
- Comdata
- Any previous or equivalent experience is preferred.
