Position Summary This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our drivers while ensuring our they and the customers receive support. This role requires leadership, organization, accountability, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who has experience in the trucking industry, values teamwork, and is motivated by achieving measurable results. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and manage the internal dispatch team. Monitor daily operations to ensure efficient freight movement and on-time service. Track, report, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) established by company ownership. Address driver concerns professionally and work toward timely resolutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and service. Coordinate with dispatch, safety, maintenance, and leadership to improve operational efficiency. Identify process improvements that increase profitability and customer satisfaction. Hold team members accountable to company expectations and performance standards. Ensure company policies and operational procedures are consistently followed. Assist ownership with strategic initiatives and operational planning. Qualifications Previous experience in trucking or logistics required. Knowledge of dispatch operations and fleet management. Excellent leadership and team-building skills. Outstanding communication and conflict-resolution abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to analyze operational data and drive performance improvements. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficient with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office.
