a last mile delivery company operating out of Amazon Station DKO1 in Littleton, Massachusetts, as an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP). Our operation depends on strong communication, organization, accountability, and the ability to make sound decisions in real time. We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator who can help manage daily delivery operations and support a team of 30-40 drivers. This is an important operational role for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, stays composed under pressure, and knows how to keep people and routes moving when unexpected challenges arise. Responsibilities Coordinate daily dispatch operations for a team of 30-40 delivery drivers, ensuring routes are properly staffed and drivers are prepared for the day Monitor delivery routes and driver progress in real time throughout each shift Respond quickly to delays, vehicle issues, delivery challenges, call-outs, and other operational disruptions Communicate directly with drivers throughout the day to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide clear direction Coordinate route adjustments, rescues, and driver support when necessary to ensure successful route completion Monitor on-time performance, route completion, safety, and other key operational metrics Work closely with station leadership regarding staffing levels, route coverage, call-outs, and same-day operational needs Identify and properly escalate vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, accidents, and safety-related issues Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity, incidents, driver communications, and operational issues Help ensure company policies, safety standards, and delivery procedures are consistently followed Remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused when handling time-sensitive situations Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, transportation, delivery operations, or a similar fast-paced operational environment Amazon DSP Experience Preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to make timely, sound decisions with limited supervision Comfortable managing multiple priorities, drivers, phone calls, applications, and operational dashboards simultaneously Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience with an Amazon DSP, trucking company, moving company, courier service, transportation company, or last-mile delivery operation is highly preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus College degree is welcomed, but relevant hands-on experience is equally valued Offer Competitive hourly compensation based on experience PTO and benefits package Hands-on involvement in a growing delivery operation Opportunity to advance into senior operations and management positions A fast-paced environment where strong performance, initiative, and reliability are recognized The opportunity to play a meaningful role in the daily success of our operation Who Will Succeed in This Role The ideal candidate is organized, decisive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership.
