911 / Emergency Dispatcher Are you calm under pressure? A good listener? Someone who can think quickly, communicate clearly, and help people when they need it most? The Antrim County Sheriff's Office is looking for a Dispatcher to join our emergency telecommunications team. You'll be at the center of it all. Our dispatchers serve multiple Fire, Ambulance, and Law Enforcement agencies throughout the area. Every shift is different, and the pace can change quickly depending on the day, time of year, and situation.

You'll learn to work independently, make critical decisions, communicate with emergency responders, and help keep our community safe.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

✔ At least 18 years of age ✔ High school diploma ✔ Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical ✔ Ability to work any shift , including nights, weekends, and holidays ✔ Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in challenging situations ✔ Willingness to learn and take on the full range of emergency telecommunications responsibilities No previous dispatch experience? That's okay! Successful applicants receive a comprehensive 21-week on-the-job training program to prepare them for the position.
