The City of Minot is accepting applications for the entry level position of Public Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher in the Dispatch Department, with an application deadline of Thursday, July 30th 2026. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants. All applicants will be required to complete an online Civil Service Exam. Education and ExperienceGraduation from High SchoolSome experience in the use of communications equipment, computer systems, and phone systems; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Compensation and Benefits The assigned salary range for Public Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher under the 2026 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan is a Grade 52, with an annual salary range of $45,799- $67,990, with a starting hourly wage of $22.02 per hour. This is a full time, FLSA non-exempt position. This is a benetted position. Please see the current City of Minot Benets Guide for complete information. Information regarding the salary increase structure and any applicable promotional ladder or advancement structure is available in the current City of Minot Annual Pay Plan.
