Full-Time Emergency Dispatcher Milford Area Communications Center | Milford, NH | Full-Time | Shift Work Be the calm voice on the other end of the line. When someone dials 9-1-1, they may be facing the worst moment of their life. They need a calm, skilled professional who can think clearly under pressure, gather critical information fast, and get the right help moving immediately. At the Milford Area Communications Center (MACC), that professional could be you.
ABOUT MACC MACC
is a regional Emergency Communications Center serving 15 police, fire, and EMS agencies across five communities in the greater Milford area. Our dispatchers are the critical link between the public and the first responders who protect them. You will report to the Dispatcher Supervisor and Director and join a dedicated team that takes pride in its professionalism, precision, and service, guided by one standard: Serving Those Who Call Upon Us.

▪ A stable career in public service, backed by a comprehensive benefits package and a team that supports one another on every shift.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

▪ Monitor the safety and well-being of on-duty public safety personnel in every community we serve.
▪ Build and maintain expert knowledge of local streets, landmarks, buildings, businesses, and hazardous materials locations to support rapid, accurate deployment.
▪ Operate CAD systems, multi-channel radio consoles, telephone systems, and alarm monitoring equipment.
▪ Maintain accurate logs, records, and business contact and alarm data in accordance with policy, and safeguard the confidentiality of all Center information.
▪ Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with departments, agencies, and community organizations during incidents of any size.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
▪

High school diploma or G.E.D.
▪ Composure and focus: the ability to manage multiple active calls, radio channels, and computer systems at the same time.
▪ Clear communication: speak clearly, listen actively, and interpret complex information quickly under pressure.
