Better Trucks is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispatch Coordinator for our warehouse operations in the Newark metropolitan area. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for scheduling drivers, dispatching shipments, and ensuring efficient last-mile operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Morning load out. Scanning, labeling, and sorting packages. Monitoring and optimizing delivery routes. Ensuring Geofence accuracy Promptly resolving package issues. Tracking packages and their statuses (e.g., failed deliveries, age verification, missing packages). Ensuring proper driver coverage. Monitor live chat software and audit Proof of Delivery (POD) photos. Fulfilling daily pickups using a company vehicle.

Qualifications:

Minimum age of 21. Valid Driver's License. Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with technology for tracking drivers and package status, including GPS and camera capturing software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and mass texting platforms. Self-starting, proactive, and initiative-taking. Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent memorization skills. Adaptability to change and flexibility to work varied shifts. Strong accountability and empathy skills. Commitment to treating all co-workers, delivery partners, and customers with respect. Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. Reliable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications:

(Bilingual in English and/or Spanish).

Shift & Compensation:

• Pay:

  $25.00 per hour.

• Shifts:

  Shift hours may vary between 6:00am
• 6:30pm, depending on staffing needs or whenever daily workload is complete. It is possible that you may have to work longer shifts during peak season. Candidates must be adaptable and flexible to work any 7 days out of a week .
