Transportation Dispatcher (Fleet Operations) | Henderson, NV Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Transportation Dispatcher to manage evening fleet operations for a high-volume warehouse in Henderson, NV. This role is responsible for dispatching 10-15 drivers per shift, maintaining DOT compliance, resolving real-time routing issues, and keeping deliveries on schedule in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on transportation dispatch or fleet coordination experience who thrive under pressure, communicate clearly with drivers, and take ownership of daily operations. Responsibilities Dispatch and coordinate 10-15 truck drivers per shift Build, adjust, and manage daily routes to meet delivery timelines Communicate assignments, updates, and expectations clearly with drivers and warehouse teams Monitor route progress and resolve delays, breakdowns, or scheduling conflicts in real time Ensure compliance with DOT Hours of Service and safety regulations Maintain accurate dispatch logs, delivery records, and transportation documentation Use Excel and transportation/dispatch systems (TMS, routing, telematics, or fleet software) for tracking and reporting Partner with safety, maintenance, and warehouse leadership to maintain smooth fleet operations Qualifications Required 2+ years of hands-on transportation dispatch or fleet coordination experience Proven experience dispatching 10+ drivers per shift Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay composed in time sensitive situations Proficiency in Excel and dispatch/fleet software Clear, confident communication skills with drivers and operations teams Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail Preferred Experience with routing, telematics, or TMS platforms Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience working evening or swing shifts Not an entry-level role — prior transportation dispatch experience is required.
