Adjust routes for efficiency, safety, and compliance with state and local regulations. Update routes for new students, address changes, and special transportation needs. Dispatching Assign drivers and buses to scheduled routes and trips. Monitor real-time operations and respond to delays, breakdowns, or emergencies. Communicate route changes and instructions to drivers promptly. Customer Service & Communication Serve as a contact for drivers, school staff, and parents regarding transportation issues. Handle inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently. Schedule Charter business and assess what is needed for those charters Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to safety standards and transportation policies. Maintain accurate records of routes, driver assignments, and incident reports. Administrative Duties Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on routing efficiency and performance. Assist with driver scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll verification as needed. Qualifications Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in transportation, logistics, or school bus operations. Proficiency with routing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Physical & Work Conditions Office environment with occasional field visits. Ability to work flexible hours during peak school transportation time
