Upper Valley Medical CenterPOSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for dispatching Security calls, completion of dispatch log sheets, and the card access system. Assists patients, visitors, and employees by giving directions, over the phone, accurately. Controls parking and entrances to hospital by use of the Matrix card access system. ### Education- ###
Minimum Level of Education Required:
High School completion / GED ### ### Licensure/Certification/Registration- ### Must pass Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS) and Computerized Criminal History (CCH) certification requirements within thirty days of employment and maintain certification throughout employment ### ### Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required:
No prior job-related work experience- ### Preferred experience: Previous experience in law enforcement as dispatcher desirable ### ### Knowledge/Skills
- ### Computer skills desirable
- ### Ability to acquire International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety Basis Training
- ### Ability to acquire Incident Command system (ICS) - IS 100 I.E.B
- ### This position requires an individual able to work under pressure with many interruptions while remaining calm a pleasant to the public and facility personnel.
