Role:

Monrovia in Dayton, Oregon is currently seeking a candidate to fill the role of Router Dispatcher. This role develops and optimizes delivery routes, coordinates daily driver assignments and delivery equipment, and maintains clear communication with drivers, customers, sales, and shipping teams to improve cost efficiency, delivery timing, and service quality.. What You'll Do... You'll be involved in various duties on the Fabrication Team that may include: Coordinate daily driver assignments, dispatch schedules, and delivery priorities Track delivery progress and adjust assignments to support on-time service Provide drivers with route details, customer requirements, schedule updates, and dispatch information Respond to driver questions and operational issues that may affect daily deliveries Develop and maintain efficient delivery routes to accomplish company objective of shipping "on time" Build and maintain strong relationships with local customers, understanding their specific delivery requirements and preferences Proactively communicate with customers and sales department regarding delivery schedules, delays, or special arrangements Develop comprehensive knowledge of customer locations, delivery constraints, and sales staff in the region. Effectively communicate with drivers, loading teams, supervisors, and sales teams Support administrative tasks related to local fleet operations including scheduling, routing software, and delivery documentation, and other needs of the logistics department. Coordinate with other routers within the department and other nursery locations Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities Coordinate vehicle availability and maintenance scheduling with the appropriate departments. Who You Are You… Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed Valid driver's license and driving record within company guidelines Focus on efficiency and quality to support the Grow Beautifully efforts Ability and willingness to support other assigned areas when directed by management Strong analytical skills to interpret route data and understand operational connections Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of computer experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Previous experience in dispatching, fleet operations, logistics, transportation, or routing preferred Customer service experience in a business-to-business environment desired US general geographic knowledge required Experience with routing software and GPS systems preferred
