POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for taking Customer phone calls at all hours of the day as well as coordinating intercompany transportation requests as required. Also responsible for scheduling, directing, supporting, and monitoring Professional Drivers in the Transportation Department at Gas Field Specialists, Inc.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Directs and coordinates transportation logistics at a specific GFS Location. Obtains permits, bonds, and licenses as required. Ensure company

DOT, FMCSA, & OSHA

compliance. Monitors an IVMS tracking system for fleet/employee work activities. Responsible to approve driver time off requests. Assists in incident/accident investigations and reviews transportation policies and procedures on an annual basis. Daily input of load information into Customer databases as required to fulfill our Contractual agreements. Responsible to ensure drivers are entering correct information into the computerized management systems daily and monitors HOS requirements. Conduct safety meetings and share learnings from incidents with all employees. Driver coaching, retraining as needed to keep up with the changing requirements. Alternating weekend dispatch coverage. Ensures employees understand and follow company policies including Safety Policies/Procedures/JSA's/BBO Forms/SSE Program. Disciplines employees as necessary in accordance with violations of company policies. Schedules employees based on presumed business needs. Ensures employees are at competent levels of trainings in accordance with GFS and customer requirements. Attend customer meetings and performs outside sales functions. Manages employees PTO and audits/approves timecards, field tickets, and credit card receipts for accuracy. Coordinates with Transportation Manager to drive Operational efficiencies.

SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Enforces policies and procedures regarding work safety and document incidents quickly and accurately. Oversees the receipt and dispersing of PPE to employees. Coordinates new hire employees with a mentor and monitor their performance throughout probation. Promotes company core values including but not limited to S-I-R Program (Safety, Integrity, Respect).

SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops new business relationships by using various networking methods in person and over the phone. Qualifies existing and potential customer needs and provide workable solutions to fulfill their needs. Maintains knowledge of company equipment types and effectively promotes service offerings to customers and potential customers. Maintains contact with existing customers and provide support based on their needs. Be proactive in obtaining new business and referrals from existing customers. Provides follow up support and communication to customers ensuring great customer service. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry. Ability to keep company proprietary information confidential. Knowledge of the methods and procedures of the FMCSA, OSHA and Department of Transportation. Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment mechanics, including knowledge of safety standards for motor vehicles and equipment. Ability and desire to work in a positive, fast-paced, and high energy environment. Ability to work an extensive schedule and maintain on call duties while away from base of operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to travel to satellite locations, customer sites, incident sites, etc. at a moment's notice and/or in accordance with emergency situations. Ability to work at satellite locations for periods of time up to but not limited to one week. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and above average math skills. Detail orientated with strong organizational skills. Ability to effectively supervise one or more employees.

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL / VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to multitask required. Strong organizational skills.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION

Valid Driver's License is required. Commercial Driver's License preferred.
